1) Q: What Network Traffic Monitor Pro does ?
A: Network Traffic Monitor Pro collects and displays information about the amount of network traffic made by every application installed on your computer. basically it tells you how much traffic and how much bandwidth each application use.

2) Q: Should I use Network Traffic Monitor Pro to calculate internet traffic bill?
A: NO. Network Traffic Monitor Pro is not indented for that purpose.You might forget to start the software, or you can close it accidentally and when that happens it will not record the traffic made. Please contact you Internet Service Provider for details on that matter.

3) Q: How do I Install Network Traffic Monitor Pro ?
A: Just run the installer and follow the directions. if you have troubles installing Network Traffic Monitor Pro, please check the support page

4) Q: What are the system requirements?
A: You need Windows XP or above (Vista,Windows 7) operating system in order to use Network Traffic Monitor Pro. The software would need at least 15 MB of disk space and 512 MB of RAM memory.

5) Q : Should Network Traffic Monitor Pro be installed and run with administrative rights ?
A: While its not mandatory, it is recommended that Network Traffic Monitor Pro runs with elevated access rights on Windows Vista and Windows 7. While running with restricted access rights the software its not able to identify the services or processes running on different user accounts.

6) Q: Why do I need WinPcap ?
A: Network Traffic Monitor Pro uses the WinPcap library in order to associate the traffic with the application that generate it. Without the WinPcap library the Network Traffic Monitor Pro wont work.

7) Q:The program does not seem to function properly, what is wrong ?
A: There are cases when the program wont work correctly. This can happen because some firewall/antivirus software blocks, or limits, Network Traffic Monitor Pro from accessing the data. We are working on resolving those issues. Please feel free to contact us for more details.

8) Q: How do I keep the system tray icon always visible ?
A: For Windows XP:
· Right Click the lower right hand corner of your system tray (next to the clock).
· Choose Properties from the drop down menu that appears.
· The "Taskbar and Start Menu properties" window will open. Click Taskbar tab and then choose Customize.
· Find "Network Traffic Monitor Pro" in the list, click it once, then click the little blue arrow next to it to open the drop down menu of choices, and choose "Always Show". Now click OK
· You are done!
For Windows Vista and Vindows 7:
· Right Click the lower right hand corner of your system tray (next to the clock).
· Choose "Customize Notification Icons" from the drop down menu that appears.
· Find "Network Traffic Monitor Pro" in the list, click it once, then click the little arrow next to it to open the drop down menu of choices, and choose "Show icon and notifications". Now click OK
· You are done!

9) Q: What do the system tray icon show ?
A: The system tray icon shows a small graph with the upload and download rates for the last 14 seconds. The blue bars represent the download rates, the red ones represent the upload rates.

10) Q : What is System/Other entry in my application list ?
A: System/Other represents the services or application processes running under other user accounts. Network Traffic Monitor Pro does not have access to the process name for those. All the traffic generated by those services is then groped under the general System/Other entry.

11) Q: How do I show a detailed graph ?
A: All you need to do is click the application name. A detailed graph for that application will be shown.

12) Q: How do I hide a detailed graph ?
A: All you need to do is click the application name. The detailed graph for that application will be hidden.

13) Q: How do I change the graph colors ?
A: From the Main Menu select the Settings command. The Settings Window will show. Click the Applications tab, locate the application you want to change the color for in the list, and click on it. Click on the color square, pick the new color and Save.

14) Q: How do I register Network Traffic Monitor Pro ?
A: The registration process consists in purchasing a license from ItLights Software and entering the Name and Serial Number received in to the Registration Window. Click here to buy Network Traffic Monitor Pro.
